Is it easy to transmit the disease to another partner that's not positive and you don't have a outbreak and you take Valacyclovir daily.

I tested years ago maybe a little over 10 years, i was told by my doctor that I technically don't have it because I don't have breakouts and cant really officially diagnose me unless I have a breakout because that is what they usually test. I have never had a breakout ever. I also do not understand the difference with HSV 1 and HSV 2, if I have it in the mouth or genital or both. What does this all mean, do I have it? Can is spread it? (if so how do I know when?) I understand using condoms can help, but when I'm married and want to have kids how do I do that if I don't have any symptoms and i don't want to spread it to my partner? Why isn't there enough information on this when its such a common thing?

So my last girlfriend and I both have HSV2. She always had breakouts only on her butt, not on her vagina. So I performed oral on her vagina many times over 3 years and neither of us showed any breakouts on our mouths. We are no longer together and I’m with a new partner and wondering if I kiss her now or any other partner am I risking passing the virus orally to them ?

We've been dating 1.5 years. What does family planning this look like for couples like us? We wear condoms all the time. She wants to give oral and feel me without a condom, I refuse to allow that. Is there even a point to planning a future?
Does anyone in this situation have an experience they care to share? How do I ask a doctor for support/education? Where can I obtain help If I wanted my GF to join and learn?
I really do not want the relationship to end but being careless and passing this along is not an option. As much as we all strive to have the best relationships breakups/divorce are always inevitable. I would hate to affect her in the way I've been affected in case she wished to move on

Ok so, I am trying to do research on this, i have had Herpes now for over a Year and had only 1 maybe 2 outbreaks. I have HSV-1 Only Genitally, but cannot find any information online that states whether or not you can catch BOTH strains in the same area.
Basically if I have HSV-1 Genitally, and have unprotected sex with a Person who has HSV-2, will we give each other the strain we have? or with the Antibodies we have from the current strain fight off the infection?

Ive been celibate for two years now. Previously had been tested and came out negative. I live with my son and a family member who was rumored to have it. I noticed a few months ago my razor looked like it had been moved but I wasnt sure if it was just me or not as my memory isnt too amazing. Id shaved in the nethers prior to an appointment with my gyn as i was getting a pap and some other tests because im trying to get my body right to conceive hopefully sometime in the future as i would like more children when i meet the one. Anyways so I changed the razor head after this time once again noticing that this time it truly wasnt how id left it. About a month or two later i has two solitary bumps on each side of my outer labia and though okay ingrowns no biggy. Had reached out the my dr when i noticed the bump started bleeding. I couldnt come in to see her due to scheduling issues but she said it was most likely just ingrown. A few days later she called to say id been exposed to HSV-1 and that she couldn't tell me when it happened. I then started thinking could it have been this family member? Could it have been then using my razor not realizing or caring what they could possibly pass? Bumps disappeared and reappeared about 2weeks ago this time about 5 and i had low grade fever, back aches, and sore throat and painful nausea. I must have seen 4 doctors and i explained the whole situation to them and they all said the same…this was an outbreak and that it could have been transmitted via the razor. I have cried, ive had some very dark thoughts. I helped another family member through being initially diagnosed and it was horrible. Seein a grown man cry broke my heart and to hear him say i wanted to drive my car off the road and just be gone because who’s gonna want me, was devastating. I have those same thoughts and cry myself to sleep. From all you out there how did you get over this initial time and do you all think the drs are right? Could this have been from the razor?

A while ago I found out I had hsv2 and apparently got it from my mother possibly from a young age. I was never aware until I got tested because I've had no outbreak or was I having any symptoms. I was in a relationship and we kissed some things happened and I just found out that she thinks I've passed my hsv2 her. Can I pass hsv2 through a kiss or cutt?.
